A great how-to video. I got tagged in this guy Joe's post in the Puyallup River Fishing Forum on Facebook. He's been struggling to catch fish. I gave him some advice on his setup and told him I'd see him down at the river. He found me. Right after I catch a fish, he asks if I'm Scott. Thats me. The rest is in the video. It's great. I didn't even care that I lost the fish. I get a lot of fish and that rarely happens. This video is about understanding the drift and what you want to feel in the river. If you don't know how fast your drift should be, you'll have a real hard time catching anything. The slower the drift, the lower your hook sits in the water. The faster the drift, the higher up in the water your hook will be. There's a fine line between the two and when you find it, you'll be in the sweet spot. Remember, almost all of the fish will be 1 to 2 inches off of the bottom and that is precisely where you want to be.
