Sparkster (SNES) - Opening & Stage 1 (Hard)

I'm finishing up the Sega Genesis version of Sparkster, so I've decided to get started on this one. Even though the Genesis version is the sequel to the other Genesis game, this one was released before that one. However, it has no relationship with the other two games beyond shared music (a la RKA2) and shared gameplay & controls (a la RKA1). From what I see, the story goes like this: The planet AND kingdom Eginasem are under attack by an army of golden dogs or wolves lead by Generalissimo Lioness. The King of Eginasem is forced to give away his daughter, Princess Flora, in the hope that they won't kill him and destroy his kingdom. It didn't really work. So the Rocket Knight opossum, Sparkster, is sent to take down the Lioness army on his own and take back Flora. A bit later, he'll have to invade a ship where she's being held hostage, but Sparkster's rival, Axel Gear, kidnaps her and leaves Sparkster to deal with a giant golden knight as the stage's boss. I'll leave it to you to decide which of these Sparkster games are better. I like both of them. This one seems to be a blend of the first and second Genesis games.
