Thirty-two days. One Harley Road King Special. A road pointing south. I’m heading to Spain — partly to scout roads, towns, villages, restaurants, and hotels for future Wild Roads tours… and partly just to ride. To chase the sun, slow down a little, and see what happens somewhere between the miles, the engine noise, and the occasional cold beer at the end of the day. No real rush. Just the road unfolding as it comes. This is Day 1. I rolled out of the Peaks around 10am, drifting south toward Portsmouth, arriving mid-afternoon. A few quiet hours in a hotel, repacking, resetting — then boarding the 10:45pm overnight ferry to Bilbao, where the real ride begins. The adventure starts here. To be continued…
