Well, I designed this planter to help solve our problem. I call it my 3 picket planter. It can literally be made from 3 fence pickets! The current price of a treated pine fence picket in my area is $1.99. For a different look, you can use cedar but the cost will be higher. And even better if you have access to used pickets!
