Download yours today: https://khub.me/vid3o The tentorium cerebelli, also known as the cerebellar tentorium gets it name due to the fact that it has an arched, 'tent-like' appearance i.e. it peaks medially, and inclines inferiorly along it's lateral borders. It provides a covering for the superior surface of the cerebellum, and supports the occipital lobes of the cerebrum. It's posterior border attaches to the internal surface of the occipital bone, where it contributes to the transverse venous sinuses. Laterally it attaches to the petrous part of the temporal bone, this time contributing to the superior petrosal sinus.
