This is a fun element which can be added to dance or acrobatics classes for adults or kids. Partner balancing exercises not only teach people how to leverage the weight of another person, but they also encourage trust between performers. These exercises are a lot of fun to do with a partner, and help people to bridge gaps. When doing these exercises as part of a dance class, the atmosphere changes, and people suddenly start laughing and having fun. It breaks the ice between people who don't know each other in dance class and encourages group spirit. People break out of their silos! Recommendations: 1. Make sure you are warmed up 2. Work with someone of similar height and size 3. Be sure to communicate with your partner throughout 4. Have a "spotter" or someone to help & watch you 5.
