498D via Two Rocks Shopping Centre - Transperth Oddities + Cool Bushland Trainspotting Location

Only a mere month after the Yanchep Rail Extension opening, route 498 underwent changes to add a very small deviation through the Two Rocks Shopping Centre carpark to get closer to the shopping centre by serving the old 490 terminus stop. In this video we go to check out the new deviation and to see surprisingly all the signage for it has already been updated (although there are several mistakes...) We also check if 498 services do indeed allow for a continuation to route 495 as stated on the timetables and desto, which the result was quite a disappointment... Finally, a few train clips are taken at a rather unique location in the Yanchep bushland where you can get an amazing view of the train line. UPDATE DECEMBER 2024: The stops just after the deviation (towards Two Rocks) have been relocated to be located before the deviation instead.
