Leica MP Review and One Roll Test - Should YOU buy?

Explore the pinnacle of Leica film cameras, the Leica MP. To me, this camera marks a culmination of over 70 years of Leica M camera design, engineering, and mechanics. In this video, I go over the history of the Leica MP, the origins of the model, and its resurgence in the early 2000’s leading to today. **Note in the video at 5:40 I refer to the "Advance Lever" or "Quick Wind Lever" as a rewind lever a few times by accident. The advance lever is rigid. It is not a rewind lever as I said in the video. I discuss the camera, its craftsmanship, handling, and feel. We talk about the shutter operation, metering system, and film operation. We also discuss the black paint model and the nuances that come with it, like fingerprints and patina (brassing). I take the camera out with the 35mm Summilux FLE 2 and a roll of Kodak T-Max 100 film and we run the camera through its paces.
