Second Step's 30th birthday campaign: Putting Me First

Second Step is celebrating its 30th birthday by inviting you to join our Putting Me First campaign. We want everyone, from policy makers to service users, mental health professionals to carers and individuals, to commit to putting the person first, before their diagnosis or their mental health problem. We're calling for mental health services to celebrate the whole person and to end the practice of seeing people as their diagnosis or problem. Our experience has taught has that with the right support given in a compassionate and timely way, people can find the hope and courage to make the changes they want in their lives. We will be holding an event to launch our campaign officially in November 2017. Watch this space!
