Presa de los Caballeros, Cueva del Hundidero and Pico Mures Route Taken on 03/19/24. Circular Route where I first visit the Presa de los Caballeros (today with a lot of water) then I go down to the Cueva del Hundidero where the Gaduares River on this occasion carries a lot of water from the dam and enters the Cave where I enter a few meters to visit it, after leaving the Cave I try to visit the newly built Via Ferrata that begins at the foot of the front vault of the swamp but the large amount of water makes me go back and I can't get there, now back to do the circular through the back of the swamp, being impossible to cross on the side usually enabled towards the path that would take us to the town of Montejaque, having to improvise and make a huge detour of 4 km, returning to the correct path, once I reached Montejaque I head towards the Escarihuela path and from there to the Ermita, from here is when the difficult part comes, unmarked path, a lot of vegetation and when I reach Cerro Mures an ordeal of Stones, Rocks and a lot of vegetation of spikes and nettles, then it becomes very difficult to climb to the Geodesic Vertex of Pico Mures, down towards the road and to the end of the Route. CONCLUSION: It is better to do this route until the entrance to Montejaque and then by road to reach the beginning of the route.
