The Road of the Kings, Exploring Scotland's History A trip from Taynuilt to Kilmore along Glen Lonan, named 'The Road of the Kings' as it is presumed to be the route taken on their final journey before burial at St Oran's Church on the Isle of Iona. Nearly every period of history as I point out historically interesting sites, and I recount tales of Celtic myth associated with the area as I wend my way down this ancient, well travelled road.
