There has been global reaction to the suspected chemical attack in Douma. Condemnation poured in on Sunday as US President Donald Trump warned there would be a "big price to pay", while Turkey said: "it is not possible to justify nor accept such attacks for any reason and in any way, shape or form." "Many dead, including women and children, in mindless CHEMICAL attack in Syria," Trump wrote on Twitter, lashing out at Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his ally, Russia's Vladimir Putin. "President Putin, Russia and Iran are responsible for backing Animal Assad. Big price to pay," he wrote.
