Fans Think Adele & Sam Smith Are SAME Person With CRAZY Conspiracy Theory

At first I was an adamant non-believer but this theory comes with some pretty considerable evidence. Adele and Sam Smith both have incredible voices, they’re British, and have won a zillion Grammys. That being said no one has ever spotted them in the same room together at the same time. They have no pictures together and they’re only documented interaction was on Twitter when Adele congratulated Sam on a new release. While each of those slices of evidence are cute, let me break down the real reason the internet was shook. A twitter user called Jesse21Valona sent the internet into a frenzy when he tweeted two videos. In the first video you hear Adele’s hit Hello being played on vinyl and when it is played at a slower speed, this happens. The video was captioned - “Did you know that when you slow down Adele it’s actually Sam Smith?” But like actually. It literally sounds like Adele morphing into Sam and vice versa. Having just been posted yesterday, the tweet received over 57,656 retweets, 118,216 likes and over two million views. Naturally the video sent people into a literal meltdown on Twitter. The reactions included QUOTE - “Has anyone ever seen Adele and Sam Smith in the same room.” Another said – “mate. they’re never seen together at the same event. they’re British legends, sing the same genre. legit I’m telling you. *x-files theme tune*” Someone spoke the truth saying – “So we can listen to Adele's original and Sam's cover on the same vinyl. What a time to be alive.” And my personal favorite, someone called the phenomenon – “Adeleception.” But the speculation was put to rest with an additional video that sped up a Sam Smith song to see if it would sound like Adele. It didn’t. Not even a little bit. But the theory was fun while it lasted. But how crazy is it that when you slow down an Adele song it sounds like Sam Smith??
