Birkenhead North End 25 mile TT Jack Mcalister Memorial

On Sunday 22/7/25 we took on the 25 mile course just south of Whitchurch on the A41/49 near Prees. It was a 04:00am wake up for us all to be there ready and prepared for sign on which opened at 06:00! The event was fantastic hosted by the guys and gals from Birkenhead North End cycling club. Stanley was the first brother to go at 07:06 followed by Tommy at 07:07 and Alfie at 07:09. Tommy, taking part in his first 25TT and longest to date quickly caught up Stan and several other riders, pacing himself well and coming in a respectable time of 1:01:14. 25th place overall amongst some very fast elite senior riders. Stanley also in his first 25 mile TT went well, finishing 44th overall witha time of 1:17:15. Dad forgets his only 13 but is still mega proud. Alfie bless him had his stomach churn and turn when we arrived, he just couldn’t get over the pains in his stomach which we think was from a dodgy quiche the night before. He battled to take 49th 1:27:53 as he crossed the line. Great race with great people, highly recommended by us and very much looking forward to the next one.
