Ep. 4: Camping at River Destiny Lodge / 2-in-1 video / Gariep dam wall overflowing also included

Welcome to Episode 4. In this video I show you not only the campsite where I am staying for the weekend, but I also include footage of the Gariep dam which is overflowing. On my way to River Destiny Lodge, I first stop at Gariep dam and take a walk on the dam wall. The dam is still more than 100% full and overflowing. I include this awesome spectacle at the beginning of my video. It was a privilege to see the billions upon billions of liters of water flowing over the edge. Then I continue on to River Destiny Lodge, the campsite where I was staying. I crossed the Orange River into the Northern Cape. River Destiny Lodge is on the banks of the Orange River. They have a beautiful camping area with green grass and lots of trees, clean ablution blocks and a restaurant on site. I enjoyed my stay and I can recommend this campsite to anybody, unless you are a light sleeper (like I am). The N1 bridge over the Orange River is not far from the resort and the noise of the cars and trucks might keep you up at night... I haven't completed my final list of categories for scoring campsites, but I would have scored River Destiny Lodge pretty high on each of the categories.
