DIY Coil Gun- How to make a clay coil gun/handle extuder Some of you were asking for a tutorial on how to make your own coil gun after seeing the one I use for my handles. This is a pretty simple way to make one and you can create different designs using a drill bit or rotary tool. . Supplies: ▪️caulk gun (I use the blue Newborn brand as the disk fit inside the pvc the best) ▪️1 1/2" pvc pipe ▪️pvc end cap to fit pipe (you don't need to glue them together) . Tools ▪️drill to create hole in end cap ▪️hacksaw to cut pvc (you might be able to have hardware store cut them to length) . . I haven't used any of the brand name clay guns but this caulk gun version does take a bit of grip strength (depending on clay stiffness) to operate. . .
