I DO NOT Consent 🚨

The whole concept of I DO NOT Consent 🚨 is something that I have discussed on the channel before. The last time I mentioned it I was met with comments such as "It will never work" "Spoilt Ballot" and other things. Well I managed to get hold of the judgement Ashby V White 1703 and it is very revealing indeed. One of the basic things Ashby V White 1703 protects is a constituents right to vote in the first place so if you turned up and wrote I do not consent on the paper they can not stop you, your right to do it is protected. What would then theoretically ensue is a situation where hundreds of MP's all over the country would not be elected because the returning officer would have no votes to announce and therefore return an MP to Parliament for that constituency. While you would have an incumbent government still they would be in a heck of a quandary. They have options open to them including calling another election but in reality it would cause a massive problem because at the end of the day Parliament serves at the behest of its people and if we provide no consent Parliament can not function. #constitution #vote #trending
