Singer-songwriter, TV host, pro-snowboarder, fly-fisher and free spirit, Greta Gaines brings a unique mixture to the show. Winner of the 1992 Women's Extreme Snowboarding World Championship, Greta continued working on her music while balancing a career in extreme sports. In 1999, she released her self-titled debut, the first of four albums released under her own label, Big Air Records. In 2001, she composed the soundtrack for Virgil Bliss, an independent film from director Joe Maggio. Greta has performed with artists such as Willie Nelson, David Crosby, Neil Young, Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan, and John Mellencamp. In 2001, she produced and hosted her own TV series Freeride with Greta Gaines. The show ran three seasons on Oxygen Network and combined her passion of music, sports, and outdoor adventure. She has hosted a range of other shows including MTV's Sports and Music Festival and ESPN 2's Basscenter and The New American Sportsman.
