Military Campgrounds - Barksdale AFB Famcamp in Shreveport, LA

This is a quick look at Barksdale AFB Famcamp in Shreveport, LA. (My hometown!!) If you have base access and would like to see a little bit of what to expect then keep watching. We accessed the base through the commercial gate. It was exit 23, Industrial Drive off of I-20. The hours were Monday-Friday 0545-1745 when we were there. If you come outside those hours, you'll have to go through the main gate. If so, you might need security to remove the barriers. The campground was great and the pull-thru sites were roomy. The BX and commissary are not too close to the famcamp. It was only $25 a night, so not too bad. Downtown is a close drive as well. Please like and subscribe to get notifications for future videos.
