Humminbird 2D sonar cone angles changed with the newer technology in recent years. The older Dual Beam 20 and 60 degree cone angles have been replaced with Dual Spectrum Chirp cone angles of 25 and 42 degrees. Newer Humminbird electronics users sometimes get confused with cone angles and what they’re designed to do.
