It has over 100 locations and it is a common option for Canadians looking for an affordable steak in Canada. We are back in Toronto again for the channel and since I missed The Keg last time I just knew I had to try it this time! We went to The Keg near me in Toronto, one of the restaurants in Downtown Toronto. However, it came to my attention that The Keg has a very notable location in Toronto, the Keg Mansion! The Keg Mansion is located in a historical mansion that is almost 200 years old. What's notable about that mansion is not just its architecture, but a lot of people think that the Keg Mansion is haunted! Keg Mansion ghost stories can be found online, and the restaurant has a book too that has them all together. This may be the spookiest review we have ever done! I should have done this during Halloween when I was here last time! However, beyond the spooky aspect, we also seek to answer whether or not The Keg is one of the the best steakhouses in Toronto or the best steakhouses in Canada. To be clear, I am not saying is it the best in terms of taste and flavor, but as a chain I am measuring whether it is Canada's best steak in terms of cost and bang for your buck! We will be trying many items from The Keg menu, many iconic dishes such as The Keg prime rib, The Keg Billy Miner pie, and one of The Keg steaks. We'll see if The Keg is all its cracked up to be!
