Here's another requested "making of" video from the lovely Peeps. This is one straightforward card to make. In the video, I will demonstrate making a whole (blank) version of this card and then show a quick montage. Of course, feel free to decorate it however you like—Karen Burniston has many characters, animals, and scene elements you can choose from. The only Karen Burniston set required is the Slider Box, as it forms the base of the pop-up itself. I recommend choosing patterned paper with two distinctive designs on each side from the other. For my Christmas-themed card, I decorated it with the new Poinsettia dies and the Snowman (you can find them in the Snowman Circle set or as a stand-alone set). Make sure your decoration stays within the limits of the pop-up, and trim off any pieces sticking over the edge. Be careful when you choose the background paper and how you position it. The card should look the same from either side, inside or out. (I forgot to mention in the video that if you like the Merry Christmas label I used on the cover, it is also a new Karen Burniston release called 'Merry Christmas Lorna Add-ons'). I didn't know how to say this correctly, but after trimming off the tabs from the slider piece, you're scoring at 1 1/8" from each side. If I didn't explain the optical illusion well, please watch the last minute of the video. I hope you enjoy making your own version of this card. one more thing to remember - like all illusions, how you present and show this card to your audience matters the most. Even though I find the depth of the pop0up sufficient to be viewed from pretty much all angles, beware not to sway too much and accidentally reveal the sides Find ALL you need, including countless other incredible interactive/pop-up dies and related add-on elements, at www.karenburniston.com Watch tutorials on Karen's channel, I bet you'll get addicted! / @karenburniston
