1. First you’ll create an account on giki official website and then when the test dates are announced you’ll simply apply for an admissions test. 2. ⁠application fee is around 3000/- for single test and 4000/- for both test. Additional 500/- for applying for financial assistance. 3. ⁠tentative exam dates are July 4-10 2024 4. Basic Eligibility Criteria for Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science Programs, and Software Engineering: ⁠HSSC with Mathematics, Physics, and any other subject as the third elective with 60% or above marks each in Mathematics, Physics & Overall. A-Level in three subjects Mathematics, Physics and any other subject, with D or above grade each in Mathematics & Physics and O-Level in eight subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer Science, Urdu, Islamic Studies & Pakistan Studies) for local applicants and in five subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer Science) for those applying from abroad. Basic Eligibility for BS Management Sciences Program: HSSC (Pre-Engg), HSSC (General Science), HSSC (ICS), HSSC (Pre-Medical), HSSC (Humanities) with at least 60% overall marks. A-Level in three subjects with Ds or above grades in two principal subjects and O-Level in eight subjects for local applicants and in five subjects for those applying from abroad with overall 60% or above equivalence as per IBCC formula. American or Canadian High School Diploma or International Baccalaureate Diploma with overall 60% or above marks, as per IBCC equivalence formula. 5. Exam centres are decided for main cities throughout pakistan and you’ll select your desired centre during the application process 6. Test is computer based. 7. Total 80 mcqs: 30 math, 30 phy, 20 eng…no specific time for each portion but that might have changed. 8. I’ll attach the syllabus pdf below 9. Sample papers/preparation from fung and kips books. 10. Difficulty level for eng is easy and math/phy is slightly difficult. 11. Tentative date for results announcement is 16 July. 12. No negative marking. 13. 85% entry test, 10% hssc1, 5% matric. 14. Admissions are not given on the basis of aggregate. Merit numbers are considered which is confidential by the institute. 15. Cs closing merit around 200, AI closing merit around 400-450, Cyber closing merit around 700, DS closing merit around 500-600. 16. Practice as much as u can. A good 2 months are enough. 17. Merit lists announced on 16 July( tentatively) 18.
