Lee Soojin - The lowest ranking, the last place in Weeekly Ever since she was a child, Soojin has always been the youngest, she never thought that one day she would suddenly become an older sister. When she was a trainee till Mixnine and then the Fave Girls project, Soojin was always in the maknae line and used to have many big sisters above her. Because she was never the oldest, at first when the PlayM Girls project was in progress and later becoming Weeekly, Soojin still had a worry in her heart. When allowed to ask Hyojung one question, Soojin asked her how to be a good leader and maintain harmony among the members like how Hyojung led Oh My Girl, and Soojin cried while listening to Hyojung’s advices. Or every time she meets Chorong, how to be a good leader is what Soojin focuses on the most when they talk with Chorong. Those who have been following Weekly since the beginning can sense that Soojin was always cautious and a bit anxious. The burden of suddenly becoming the eldest sister and leader made Soojin think that she’s responsible for everything that involves around Weeekly. Only now, after 3 comebacks, Soojin shared that she has started to learn how to enjoy things about debuting, which she couldn't do for a year straight. Soojin has realized that each member can do their job well and take responsibility for themselves, so now she's more relaxed. She’s very loud lately haha, even started to tease members first😄 And why is this post called The Last Place in Weeekly? Because once Secret Hyosung asked if the group would put maknae on top, or who was the real power in Weeekly, the group replied that everyone was about the same. Hyosung jokingly said, "I don't know who's the first, but it's definitely not Soojin", because minutes ago she saw our kids teasing Soojin too much, they didn't even let Soojin talk properly :))) I'm just kidding😄 Actually, the nametag „lowest ranking“ was chosen by the kids to tease Soojin, but it was Soojin who made it to a completely different meaning, I don't know if anyone notices it like I do. Soojin is always the last one to take a bite after making sure the kids have eaten, the last to choose drinks, giving up and letting the kids use the bathroom first after practicing, the last one to look away when a member is speaking and always in ready to help incase that member makes a mistake, etc. So for me the phrase „last place“ or “lowest ranking“ our kids used to describe Soojin has a huge meaning, even though for them and Soojin it's simply an implication that she has the least power in Weeekly :))) (also clever Soojin inserted words on that nametag to make it become “first ranking”🤣). ❤️ The kids often make fun of Soojin, but it’s because they love Soojin as much as the universe: •„Soojin unnie is a calm and rational leader. Our Soojin unnie never approached us recklessly but always thought it through first. An extremely kind older sister.” - Jiyoon •“We always tell ourselves that we are grateful and lucky that our leader is Soojin unnie.” - Monday •„She leads us well as a leader. Leader is a heavy role but I'm grateful that she always leads Weeekly with a smile on her face and never gets angry at us.” - Soeun •„There are happy days, there are also really sad days, and tiring days are of course unavoidable, but having someone like Soojin unnie by my side, I have always been happy“. - Jaehee •„She's a reliable leader that we can follow without having to worry about anything.” - Jihan •„She treats us as friendly as same age friends.
