How does passing not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 cars between turns 4 and 1 to take the lead sound? That is what William Watson driving the yellow #32 W.R.T. 250cc Micro Sprint did this past Saturday night at Airport Speedway, DE in the 250cc class in Heat 1. A yellow did end up coming out during this intense action and not all passes were recorded at the start/finish line and William was moved back 1 spot to 2nd place for the restart. At the drop of the green William made quick work of the leader to make P1 official and never looked back. His lead only grew lap after lap, holding off a number of multi season veterans. Note: This is William’s first race / first season running a 250cc after just two partial seasons running a 125cc at Airport.
