Band Bio: Originally formed in 2015, Stellaris are a 5 piece Hard Rock band from Huddersfield, England. The band spent several years performing hundreds of cover sets and small originals gigs around Yorkshire under their previous name of ‘Days of Riot’, whilst refining a sound which incorporates bits of Progressive Rock, Classic Heavy Metal, Doom Metal and Classic Rock. Whilst they released a Classic Rock EP under their former name in 2016, Stellaris have since incorporated more contemporary influences such as Gojira, Karnivool, and Tool into their sound of today. Band Members: Lewis Bojar – Lead Vocals Jonah Sylvester – Guitar Reuben Swallow – Guitar Liam Gec – Bass Guitar Ryley Cowgill – Drums/Vocals Stellaris Live Stellaris have performed in venues ranging from pub gigs to outdoor festivals and venues. Notable gigs include Brodstock, Askern Music Festival, The Leopard- Doncaster (supporting UK Subs), The Loose Cannon- Manchester and Nightrain- Bradford. They excel in the live environment and deliver high energy and emotive performances. Confidently making use of the available stage space, their aim at every gig is to transmit the energy of their compositions to their audience. What’s Next For Stellaris? The band have recently been signed to The Forge Ahead Initiative (FAI), a new project by The Forge Music Group. The initiative was developed with the sole aim of helping and assisting young original bands,providing them with the full support required in order to reach their full potential. FAI has begun by selecting ten of the very best in the UK at true grass-roots level with Stellaris being the first. MD of the Forge Music Group John Craig, who signed the band, said “After I saw the lads playing live at the Forged In Fire Festival in Manchester in October 2020 – where they absolutely blew me away – I have been following their progress ever since. When it came to choosing bands to work with, Stellaris were the first one I thought of hence the reason why I signed them up for it.”
