In Episode 8 of the Lahore to Kalam travel series, my day begins early in the beautiful city of Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. I wake up to warm conversations, laughter, and unforgettable moments with my Pathan brothers, experiencing true Pashtun hospitality and the lively morning vibes of the city While enjoying casual chit-chat and local culture, I explore the busy streets of Mardan, its daily routine, and glimpses of traditional food and markets. From there, I reach Malakand Chowk, where I meet a friendly rickshaw driver and decide to continue my journey toward Dargai As the rickshaw driver gathers passengers, I take the opportunity to walk and explore Mardan on foot, capturing real street life and local energy. Once the ride begins, we pass through some breathtaking and historic areas including Takht Bhai, Jalala, and Shergarh, each offering a unique charm of rural KPK But travel never goes as planned… Upon reaching Shergarh, the rickshaw suddenly breaks down, forcing me to stop there unexpectedly.
