now this is barwick in elmet village church which has a beautifull red gold clock face you dont see many churches with a red clock face they are mainley white or black gold or skeliton type ok thers 1 or 2 with a red clock face in somerset as well any way thank you for orgonising bellrining at barwick in Elmet church better getting it done on a saturday than never by stuart mills tour yes i got there back safe no trouble the clock face is 10 feet high and 6 inches wide its always nice to ring at other towers around i know some can be a bit tricky to get to ither during the day or evenings i under stand that least all the snow is going yes i rang at halifax this morning we had 8 bellringers sunday the 12 of january and yes kirkheaton is back on as well 5 till 6 pm we should have ither 6 ringers or all 8 bells not sure depeands who turns up when you hear the bells ringing faster and faster near the end it means that the bells are being rung back down in peal you just ring a bit quicker next to the person next to you the treble ringer will say downwards so we can all ring down in a straight line then we all make our 1 loop to lower our bells then keep ringing a bit further to let the rope come down a bit faster then touch the sally carfully so the bells are just swinging back and forth then keep ringing till you cath the rope in make the last third loop when your bells are nearly down then you say right miss this time and catching queens 1 3 5 2 4 6 or rounds 1 2 3 4 5 6 then stop your bell swinging ok rules and regulations
