In this video I explain weak pawns, what they are and how to create them Weak pawns is an essential part of chess strategy and it's strongly connected to strong squares. Handling pawn play in chess is very difficult but with the explanation in this video you should get a better understanding of what weak pawns are, how to create them and how it can win you games. This video is for beginners to intermediate players who want to improve their chess, that's my hope. I am a 2100+ FIDE rated player with a passion for the game and explaining and teaching it to anyone. The pawn on g7 is backwards pawn and this moves stops Rxg7 and cementing black’s kingside pawns together.
