WHAT I EXPLAIN IN THIS VIDEO CAN COMPLEMENT BUT NOT REPLACE THE THEORY LESSONS YOU CAN TAKE IN A DRIVING SCHOOL. HERE'S WHAT THE DRIVING TEST IS LIKE Did you know that the driving test is divided into three phases, and that during the first phase you will not drive? I'll give you a summary of what will happen that day. On the day of the driving test, you will have to show up with all the documents necessary to be able to take the test. So remember to bring your pink slip, your identity card or possibly your driving license, if you already have one. For example, you might have obtained your A1 license at 16 years old. On the day of the driving test for your B license, you will have to bring it with you, also because if you pass the test, you will be given a new one, which will still show the category of license you already had. If you are a non-EU citizen, remember to bring your residence permit. Without even one of the documents I have just listed, you will not be able to take the test. Maybe you will just have to run home to get them, but on the day of the test you will already be quite nervous, the fewer obstacles there are, the better. And now, let's see how the driving test will be divided. It may seem strange to you, but during the first phase you will not drive. In reality, the first phase still has to do with driving, but it focuses on what is the preparation phase for safe driving. You may then be asked to explain how to adjust the driving position, i.e. the seat, steering wheel and mirrors. And then you may have to demonstrate that you know how to turn on the various lights provided by the vehicle. Not only that, you may be asked to activate certain devices, such as the horn, central locking or the heated rear window. Let's not forget that you may also be asked to open the bonnet and the trunk; to do a quick check of the level of fluids and oils in the vehicle. To show where the spare wheel is located, or the space-saver wheel, or the repair kit, depending on what the vehicle is equipped with, and to check that the tyres are the correct size and in good condition, as well as the efficiency of the steering and brakes. Finally, you will also have to know how to read the main and most important information that the registration document can provide you. Now let's move on to the second phase! It's time to start the engine and try your hand at maneuvers. They will make you perform at least two of those that I am about to list, choosing between: a prolonged reverse, which can be straight or with a turn; a U-turn performed using both forward and reverse gear, and I have already dedicated a specific video to this maneuver, I leave you the link below in the description so you can see it, but you can also do it by clicking on the "i" here at the top right. Then there is the emergency or precision braking with stopping at a predetermined point - I confess that I can count the number of times I have heard this maneuver requested on the fingers of one hand, but perhaps it is not so in other provinces. And finally there is him, parking. Many boys, and girls, turn pale just hearing the word "parking". But in reality you will realize that it is simpler than you think. It will obviously take a little practice to perform it safely, but with the right advice and a little calm, you will see that you will learn to park in no time. There are different types of parking: aligned parking, called "S" parking, comb parking, also called "L" parking, which can be done both forward and reverse, which is my favorite parking, and oblique parking, also called herringbone parking. The time has come to show what you can do when driving a car. A little agitation will probably try to put a spoke in your wheels, but you focus on what you have to do. Try to use the controls correctly, brake, clutch, accelerator, mirrors, steering wheel, and on the steering wheel I have already made a video on how to turn it during the driving test, to see it I leave you the link in the description, or you can simply click on the "i" here at the top right. But above all, show that you know how to drive safely in traffic, adapting your speed to different situations, avoiding flat, always slow driving. When you have your license in your hand, you will appreciate it even more. Thanks for watching this video and see you soon with the next one, here on the Guidare Oggi channel, with Andrea. #drivingexam #licenseexam #Blicense
