Through a series of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, this seminar will teach you how to leverage the spatial analysis and visualization capabilities of ArcGIS with the statistical capabilities of R. We will be exploring all the ways the open source R-ArcGIS bridge enables seamless and efficient software integration workflows. In-depth dives will be taken into the functionality behind transferring data between ArcGIS and R, creating R script tools, sharing your work, managing and working with different flavors of R, removing computational bottlenecks and more, with a focus on the entire R ecosystem.
