The Ford Bronco has been doing a great job of sticking it to the Jeep Wrangler since Ford resurrected the nameplate in 2021 and slapped it on a Ranger-based convertible SUV with removable doors. And over the intervening years till now, it’s received continuous updates and improvements, a few special editions and more trim levels to keep it running neck and neck with the crosstown rival Jeep. But for the 2025 model year, the Bronco gets more substantial updates, a trim-level pare back and the reintroduction of a Base trim to help with the affordability issue the whole industry is experiencing. There are a few new equipment packages, a new special edition, and some upgrades to the Bronco focusing on comfort and usability. Ford says it’s listened to its owners and made some meaningful changes. Cars.com Detroit Bureau Chief Aaron Bragman got a firsthand look at the new ‘25 Bronco at Ford’s Michigan Proving Grounds in Romeo, Mich., alongside a lake on a rainy, goose-poop-covered lawn. There are no powertrain changes to the Bronco, so they shouldn’t drive any differently, but the other changes to trim and equipment will be evaluated early next year. Ordering for the ‘25 Bronco has already started, so check out Ford’s website if you want one of the first. Read more about the 2025 Ford Bronco: https://www.cars.com/articles/2025-fo...
