Part 2:    • F1 2012: Penalties that shocked the world ...   Worst Penalty Ever:    • F1 2012: Worst Penalty in the History of F...   A compilation of ridiculous penalties awarded to me online in F1 2012. I think Codemasters must have programmed the FIA and the stewards to be completely ignorant and drunk in this game! All of these clips were recorded within 24 hours! #1 (Mclaren on Mclaren) -- You have hardly any time to react to having an inactive player directly in front of you on the grid. The really stupid thing was that he actually started moving anyway once I made contact so he gained from it and I lost out, THEN still got a penalty. #2 (HRT on Marussia) -- The only one I think was probably my fault. The thing that annoyed me though about this one was that he span across me to the left when if anything he should have been hit in the direction he was going and everything would have been fine. #3 (HRT on Mercedes) -- This one is so stupid. You can clearly see he begins to accelerate up to speed and if he had carried on doing so, I would have slotted in behind no problem. However at the last moment, he begins to slow down meaning I just clip the back of him. He then goes inactive. Firstly, he did not lose out at all and I didn't gain so there was no need to penalise. He also went inactive which means it wouldn't have mattered regardless. #4 (Caterham on Lotus) -- It's clear that the Lotus driver is terrible. Three times he rams the Marussia driver in the side. The third resulting in a spin for the Marussia. I have to go off track to avoid him and still he rams me from the side. I essentially get penalised for someones sheer incompetence and lack of spatial awareness. #5 (Lotus on Mercedes) -- Very close but its clear that his centrifugal momentum takes him into me. I left a gap which he had a right to go for but his front right wheel goes outward into my front left and not the other way around. #6 (HRT on Marussia) -- I brake at the correct time to make the chicane. The Marussia behind me does not and pushes me deep into the corner. There is no way given the extra speed he gave me that I could make the corner. This one is fair enough as I did pass off track but what got me is that the other driver didn't get a penalty at the end of the race! #7 (Red Bull on Ferrari) -- A lot of debate on this one. A lot of people are saying you cannot gain an advantage off track which is completely true under normal conditions. This is different however. It is true that I would have overtaken the Ferrari either side given the huge speed difference, therefore I did not gain an advantage. The FIA would have seen this in real life as playing it safe. No crash occurred, no one gained where they wouldn't have and no one lost out where they wouldn't have done. No penalty. #8 (HRT on Lotus) -- The Lotus was completely unsighted as I went through the second apex of the chicane. It only came into view at the last moment when it was too late. I didn't make the situation between the Lotus and Ferrari any worse as the Lotus was already driving into the side of the Ferrari. I had nowhere to go and get a penalty for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. #9 (HRT on Mclaren) -- One of the most unfair penalties I've ever been given. The Mclaren goes wide mid corner and I get the inside line for the exit. We are now alongside THEN he turns across me. By all means turn across to block when someone isn't next to you but you simply cannot turn into someone who is beside you! Again, another driver with poor spatial awareness gives me a penalty.
