From Ushuaia, we head to El Cafafate to explore the Perito Moreno Glacier! In this Perito Moreno Glacier Vlog, I will also show you what to see in El Calafate, Argentina! El Calafate is located within Patagonia, Argentina that is home to many glaciers. Perito Moreno is extra special because it is one of the few glaciers that is still growing, and it is located perfectly where people are able to get up close and interact with it. We were lucky enough to be able to hike on top the glacier with the company "Perito Moreno glacier trekking." While in El Calafate, I highly recommend taking the free shuttle to the Glaciarium Museum that tells you all about its history and other climate change effects. Within El Calafate the city, there is one main street filled with bars and restaurants, parks, and local daily markets! Glaciers are the most fascinating natural wonders in the world! In El Calafate, Argentina you can see one of Patagonia's biggest glaciers just meters away. If you are lucky, you can see one of the pieces break off right in front of you! (did not get video footage of this, unfortunately) But not to worry, it is also one of the few glaciers in the world that has been growing each year!
