I accompanied my mother to the market on the weekend. It was also my first time to the Wangjiabao Farmers' Market in Caijia, Beibei District, Chongqing. There is a market here every 3rd, 6th and 9th day of the lunar calendar, rain or shine. Known as the largest farmers' market in Chongqing, the popularity here really surprised me. There were cars parked outside the market, and there were traffic police to maintain order. There were all kinds of fresh local agricultural products. Most people were holding delicacies or carrying all kinds of vegetables, fruits and meat they bought. In addition to the elderly who are regular customers, there are also many young couples and children. The whole market is full of joy and it is very lively.
