Wondering where marijuana is legal for 2017?

In 2016, California and three other states joined Colorado, Washington, Oregon and Alaska in the legalization in the Adult Use of Marijuana. Over half the States in the Union have legal medical marijuana. Very few have not enacted a CBD law. If you're like me, then you've been looking for an updated map of where marijuana is legal. I went through the trouble of finding this out so that I could share it with you. Let me know what you think. The green states are the states with medical marijuana. Florida, North Dakota, Montana, and Arkansas all voted in favor of medical marijuana in 2016. The blue states are the ones that have enacted only the decriminalization of marijuana. That means that the police don't generally arrest people for possessing small amounts. Instead they might get the equivalent of a speeding ticket. The states with dark green stripes are the ones who have legalized marijuana for all adults. Along with the four states i mentioned above, California, Main, Massachusetts and Nevada legalized marijuana in 2016. It will take some time for legal marijuana shops to open in those places though. Maybe late 2017 or late 2018??? The red states are the ones which have not yet enacted any legislation that provides access to marijuana. I mentioned there are a few CBD only states above which are not included in this map. Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucy, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin are the group of States that have passed CBD laws.
