UP Long Hood forward on the CP D&H. Rouses Point to Fort Ann NY chase

On this early morning I got a rare sight. CP 928 was running with two UP GEs and the leader was unable to lead. This ment the trailing unit was placed in front and now ran long hood forward for the entire trip. With no ditchlights on the long hood, it made for an easy chase to Rockland siding where a CP Truck was waiting with ditchlights that plug in (I did not know that was even a thing). I caught them again at a few familiar places farther south then went to try and catch the train coming through the tunnel under Ticondoroga but the road was blocked :/ That ruined my plan so hurried south and found a small road that (on google maps) looked public. I got stuck there when a guy pulled in behind me then the train came. For whatever reason, the train went into emergency as they passed but I could not stick around to find out as I was already annoying the local...oh well. Heard on the radio that the crew did not know why they went into emergency ether. From there I headed to catch Amtrak Ethan Allen Express rolling south into Whitehall (that willl be in another video). I decided to get one last shot of 928 in Fort Ann. Officially making this the longest chase I have done on the CP D&H at over 130 (road) miles.
