Marie Antoinette was executed at 15 minutes past 12 on Wednesday 16th of October 1793. Both Marie's head and body were burred in a mass grave. The soon to be famous Madame Tussaud made a wax sculpture of Marie's face while the gravediggers had paused to eat lunch and had left the body unattended. 22 years later she was reinterred here a the Basillica Saint-Denis on the outskirts of Paris, France with her husband Louis XVI during the Bourbon Restoration. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master of Music degree from UCLA and a Professional Studies Diploma from Mannes College of Music.
