A day when 3m Bluefin tuna (200+kg) kicked my ass I don't know did I got up on the left leg that day or what, but it was extremely hard to keep up the fish even 4 minutes on the line. Directly from the strike I saw it was extremely big fish. When hitting popper on the surface by my opinion fish had roughly about 3m length. It's quite thankless to estimate the size of the fish, but in previous situations I had very good estimates. I didn't really have adequate response & plan, so I started behaving like it was regular tuna on the rod. Then short and violent runs started, forward me and from my side... With a pretty strong and stiff PE12 rod it was very very hard to keep myself on the rocks.
