Mom and Siah talking about his switch characters. I'm modeling on lite tech and Siah has his Tobi eye gaze PODD avalible to use, though he chose not to use it -- and that's perfectly OK! This video was orginally so long, between me geting completely lost in the book and taking at least five minutes to find what I wanted to say and Siah needed suctioning. I tired to trim it down -- certinally not a professional job. Ha! These moments are often where people get so flustred that they just give up. Don't! There is so much learning that comes in these moments. I was able to model perseverance, I took the time to meet his medical needs but also reminding him that our communication didn't need to stop just becasue we had to take a small break. We recapped and kept going! Side note these Toys are so annoying. The good ones always are. The Minion we bought online but I was able to switch adapt the Hulk -- feeling super proud about that!
