First day in Florence, Oregon Part 1

Welcome back to Hippie Bliss Travel. Today we are exploring the Florence, Oregon area. We wanted to do two things while we are in town. One was hiking the sand dunes of the Florence area. Second was to go on a dune buggy ride on the sand dunes. Discovering the business we wanted to go dune bugging with was closing for the season the day after we got into town. When they opened in the morning after we got into town we went to see if they had room for us. And they did but it wasn't going to be until later in the afternoon. So we signed up and paid then headed out to see what we could do until then. We drove south till we got to the Umpqua River Lighthouse. After seeing the triangle jetty and curiosity to see what they are farming in the triangle jetty we headed down to find out. After parking and walking on the beach we explored the jetty. The north side of the jetty is along the Umpqua River. As if on cue at noon all the fishing boats that were fishing at the mouth of the river started coming in quickly. One after another up the river the came. We started traveling back to Florence to make it back for dune bugging. Since I got so much footage from the dune bugging I am going to make it its own video for next week. That evening we went back into old time for dinner at the Waterfront Depot Restaurant. One of our favorite places to eat. Then we ended with another beautiful sunset off the balcony of out hotel.
