In 1985, Jonathan was a senior partner in his own west end law practice – and relied on coffee and cigarettes to deal with stress until a colleague introduced him to yoga. Within a few months, it completely changed his life. He gave up smoking (40 cigarettes a day) and coffee (14 mugs a day with at least 2 sugars), and made a few other health tweaks. He then left Law, and became involved in the set-up of Yo! Sushi and Protocol Multimedia Talent Agency He launched triyoga having raised the funds via a group of investors. David Svendsen, who was then Chairman of Microsoft, was a supporter from early on triyoga which was founded in Primrose Hill in 2000. There are now centres in Camden, Soho, Chelsea, Ealing and Shoreditch. Each centre has been designed to be a sanctuary away from the noise and bustle of London life, and the focus is consistently on the highest quality, with only the most rigorously tested and acclaimed teachers being invited to teach there. It's now a place frequented by visitors from all walks of life across London – from celebrities to everyday Londoners seeking respite and wellness. More than 600,000 people attend triyoga classes every year, and there are over 750 classes per week. //// The Good Luck Club is a podcast and video series that focuses on the idea that luck is an ingredient that's absolutely necessary in order to have a successful life and business. #Luck #Insights #podcast In each episode of The Good Luck Club we invite an entrepreneur or change-maker to share their journey to success.
