Any of our ponchos can be used over the clothing you have on for wind protection in a blizzard or storm. We also have Polartec fleece liners with hoods, and the Onsi Cloak shown in this video, which can snap into the poncho. For really windy conditions a poncho heavier than what we used is best, this would be our PSS ponchos, the PSS HD, the PSS xWide, and the PSS Ripstop HD. The Ultralite ponchos can also snap onto a Fleece liner or Osni Cloak, but the 1.1 20 silpoly have plastic snaps that do not snap onto the Fleece and Osni. I showed these in this video to show that they can be used but not snapped in. In a wind there is an advantage to snapping everything together.
