In a battle between 2 teams ranked in the state, No. 3 Gill St Bernard's traveled to No. 9 Rutgers Prep for a battle between two of Somerset County's toughest teams. **SPOILER** The first half was tightly contested , with Gill maintaining a modest lead despite huge halves from Will Brunson and Nicolas Nsenkyire. Knights led 34-30 heading into half. But a huge 3rd quarter propelled Gill to a 46-34 lead. Rutgers Prep managed to fight back and so much as tie it later on in the game but wasn't able to complete the comeback. Dorsett Mulcahy's 29 points and Connor Junker's 20 helped lead GSB to a 73-68 win, their 15th straight and 19th on the year (19-2). William Brunson had 26 for RP and Nsenkyire had 25.
