I don't think something is right with my game. This is a shitpost mod me, @TheHellInspector, and two other friends made. I didn't do the character models. If you don't believe me, that other character at the beginning is a dead giveaway on who did them. I was responsible for all the horrendous audio edits, including the voices. The other two friends provided a lot of audio and ideas for them. This is mostly an audio mod, but there's still other fun to be had. The mod is just a bunch of inside jokes between my friends that may be quite controversial, so I don't think this mod will ever be released publicly. You can watch us play through this monstrosity for the first time here: • [1] From Humble Beginnings - Super Ma... Now if only we could get started on editing the old multiplayer session we did before Lights Camera Pants Take 2. We started development in late 2023 but got held back by personal projects. Only Hell Inspector was actually working on the mod at the time while the rest of us gave ideas. The mod was left abandoned for about a year. After I got a new computer a few months ago, I was finally able to do the rest of the hard work. In other words, replace the audio... and finally fix the fucking modded Meowser cutscenes. Curse relocation tables. I wanted to make this video for April Fools' Day, but my friends had not played the mod with all the audio changes yet, not even Hell Inspector. I did not want to spoil too much more of it until we all experience the mod for the first time in multiplayer. Now that we did a session together, I don't have to worry about spoiling anything in the video. The first two music tracks are not actually for World Crown. I only used tracks that we already heard during our playthrough. Yes, I got custom in-level sound effects to work in 3D World on Switch. And believe me, it's A LOT harder than it sounds. Citric Composer and Switch Toolbox had issues with saving files. I had to edit Citric Composer's source code so it would crash less and save bigger files by adding a bunch of GC.Collect() functions whenever a file is being changed in some way. (That won't fix the program's instability, but saving a 131 MB file is actually possible now.) It's strange because the biggest audio container file, SeResourceStd2nd, is only about 124 MB big. Switch Toolbox incorrectly offsets the audio in the SARC files to 0x50 instead of 0x2000 when saving. I used a hex editor to fix that. The values between offsets 0C-0F should be 00 20 00 00, and I added a bunch of 00's until the part with "FGRP" is at offset 0x2000. Oddly, I didn't need to edit the file size at offset 0x08 to get this all working. I haven't tested the unchanged file size in Bowser's Fury, so there might be a chance that some audio will be corrupt or missing.
