The Varanasi district court in a crucial order in the gyanvapi case has rejected the Hindu side's plea seeking the carbon dating of the structure. The court in its order states that carbon dating of the Shivling may cause damage to it and will lead to the violation of the Supreme Courts order. With the Varanasi court dismissing their plea, Hindu side is planning to approach the Supreme court to challenge the district court's order. "To bring up the violent incidents that happened in the past, conveniently in 2022, and say that the present Muslims need to pay for the ills that happened 4-5 years ago, this has to stop somewhere" Says Kamruzzaman Choudhary.
