Using a fraudulently manipulated video of recent remarks by UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, UN Watch - a pro israel lobby group,has persuaded the Foreign Ministers of France, Germany and several other countries to call for her removal. Albanese has flatly denied the accusation. She is backed up by Amnesty International president Agnes Callamard who said that UN Watch deliberately circulated the truncated video to misrepresent and gravely misconstrue her messages. OFIP Chair Peter Larson discusses the attacks on Francesca Albanese with two former holders of the same position - Michael Lynk and Richard Falk. He asked them about the history of the lobby’s attacks on the role of the special rapporteur and what Canada could and should do to protect it.
