Legal Awareness Activities By D L S A, Devbhumi Dwarka

In This Video Legal awareness activities were conducted by Panel Lawyers (PLVs) and Legal Advocates under the guidance and supervision of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) with the objective of promoting access to justice and educating the public about their legal rights and responsibilities. These activities included organizing legal awareness camps, village-level outreach programs, school and college sensitization sessions, and community meetings. PLVs and Legal Advocates provided information on various laws and welfare schemes, including women and child rights, domestic violence, senior citizen protections, labor laws, consumer rights, and government benefit schemes. Special focus was given to vulnerable and marginalized groups to ensure they are aware of the free legal aid services available to them. Door-to-door campaigns, distribution of informative pamphlets, interactive question-and-answer sessions, and on-the-spot legal guidance were also conducted. Participants were informed about the availability of free legal aid, Lok Adalats, mediation services, and the procedure for approaching legal authorities in case of grievances.
