Pinkie Sanchez first wrestled for CHIKARA as an outsider in the Young Lions Cup VI, defeating Alex Payne in the first round but being pinned by Amasis in the eliminator. He wrestled again 3 months later in La Loteria Letal, being drawn as Mike Quackenbush's partner, only to lose to the team of Vin Gerard and Colin Delaney, taking the fall for his team after an FU by Delaney. Pinkie was not seen again until 20th Febuary 2009, teaming with UltraMantis Black and Crossbones in trial-match to join the Order of the Neo Solar Temple, but once again added a lose to his record, with Mantis and Crossbones desserting him immediatly. One month later at King of Trios, he teamed with Beef Wellington and Greg Excellence as CZW's representatives, only to be eliminated in the first round by Da Soul Touchaz. Pinkie secretly redebuted for CHIKARA under the guise of Carpenter Ant, making a run in during The Colony's battle with F.I.ST at Aniversario Yang, taking out Gran Akuma. As Carpenter Ant, Pinkie was taken in by The Colony, and competed in his first offcial match against Soldier Ant at the Young Lions Cup VII, being defeated by submission. After, he began teaming with fellow rookie Green Ant in tag and atomico matches, as well as competing in a few singles matches. The team of Carpenter and Green saw no success, losing all of their matches together. Carpenter competed in the annual Cibernetico, as a member of Soldier Ant's team. In a shocking turn of events, he was able to outlast everybody, and made his captain tap out to win the Cibernetico. However, the was vixtory began much discussion, as the hold Carpenter Ant had used to win the match was an inverted variation of the CHIKARA Special. Carpenter Ant was confronted by Mike Quackenbush, innovator of the original CHIKARA Special, regarding how he gained knowledge of the hold. Carpenter responed, "You'd be suprised what I know", before leaving the scene. Next month, he lost a match to Amasis via Castigo Excesivo, showing extremely agressive behaviour. The next night, the BDK invaded CHIKARA. During the assault, Carpenter Ant turned on his Colony comrades, viciously attacking them. Carpenter Ant revealed himself to be Pinkie Sanchez, and 2 weeks later, released a video on CHIKARA's YouTube channel RealWiggly, waging war on the Colony. Pinkie began to morph into an unstable, twisted man, as well as doning white and pink Colony tights, and referring to himself as Pink Ant. Pinkie was able to pin Fire and Green Ant during his first 3 months, although he has not competed against Soldier Ant. At Chikarasaurus Rex, after the BDK's victory, Pink Ant saw Vokoder standing in the entrance aisle, stunning him. Nobody else of the BDK saw the image of Tim Donst's former persona, but Pinkie became obsessed with his own sanity, trying to convince fellow members of the BDK that Vokoder was real.
