Chief Operating Officer of Malaysia’s Book of Records Christopher Wong shares in his TEDx talk, ways he has gone beyond his comfort zone to achieve a more fulfilling life and the beauty of constantly challenging ourselves. Christopher Wong also shares techniques about how we can challenge ourselves by venturing beyond our comfort zones to witness where “the magic happens”. Christopher Wong is the Chief Operating Officer of the Malaysia Book of Records, a non-profit organisation and official national keeper of records for Malaysia. Christopher is also a practicing corporate lawyer of 25 years standing. Outside work, Christopher sits on the Board of Trustees for WWF-Malaysia, a NGO that champions conservation causes for natural environment and endangered species. He has also authored a book called “Loke Mansion : Carrying On A Legacy” on the need to preserve heritage and creating awareness for Loke Mansion, a century old grand mansion built by Loke Yew, a philanthropist who was the richest man in South East Asia during the early 1900s. Outside his professional life, Christopher is also an avid kendo exponent, having represented Malaysia in the World Kendo Championships, and holds the rank of 6Dan. He describes himself as someone who defies standard convention, ventures beyond the limits set on him and has a larger than life persona.
